Things to do
Phatthalung is often described as one of Thailand’s hidden gems, a province quietly building a reputation for eco-based tourism and authentic cultural experiences. Close by our resort, you’ll find vibrant green markets such as the Pa Phai Sang Suk Market and Lad Tainod Green Market where you can sample regional delicacies and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
For those seeking adventure, the surrounding landscapes offer river kayaking quad biking and wild swimming in crystal-clear pools beneath breathtaking waterfalls — all within a short drive.
If you’re drawn to history and spirituality, Phatthalung is dotted with enchanting cave temples nestled in the mountains, including Wat Khao Daeng, Wat Khao Aor, and Wat Khuha Sawan each offering a glimpse into our province's deep cultural roots.
Perhaps most famously, Phatthalung is home to Thale Noi (Little Sea) — a UNESCO World Heritage–listed freshwater wetland and bird sanctuary. This protected ecosystem is alive with migratory birds, herds of water buffalo, and fields of pink lotus flowers, playing a vital role in global biodiversity. Just 15 minutes from our resort, we can arrange boat tours of Thale Noi, starting as early as sunrise at 6am for a truly unforgettable experience.
These are only a handful of the treasures waiting to be discovered here in Phatthalung. If you would like more personalised recommendations, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Places to eat
There are a wide range of restaurants a short drive from our resort that offer local, regional, Asian, Western and Halal food options. To experience authentic southern style cuisine you could try Bang Charm or View Yor.
Alternatively, for fusion food with a livelier atmosphere, you could try Larn Ta Chu or Roof 6/6 which has a great view of Khao Ok Thalu mountain - the symbol of Phatthalung. For guests wanting a Halal option, Alva Halal Kitchen offers tasty canalside dining by Thale Noi lake.
If you would prefer to stay in our village, Baan Suan Khuan Khanun is just 2 mins drive and offers a range of Thai dishes in a natural setting. These are just a few of the many restaurants in our local area. If you would like other recommendations please do not hesitate to ask.
